Committed to Enriching the Lives of Young People
Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At Youth Connect, we are here to give them the support they need in order to shape them into leaders of the future. We have a number of youth programs and leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives.
Youth Connect empowers young people and offers advice, coaching and support across a wide range of activities at locations in Walsall.
We engage young people through gaming, music, board games, table games and other fun activities in a youth centre environment. Here they have the space to discuss the issues important to them, meet others and have a space to call their own.
Committed to Making a Difference
Youth Connect has been at the forefront of making a difference in young people’s lives since 2007.
Our organisation began it's journey working primarily with Muslim young people in South Walsall. British Muslim Youth Group (BMYG) was formed by pro active community members who wanted to support their local young people and their community at a time where they needed support the most.
Capitalising on the skills and experiences of talented community members who hail from a background of social work, education, youth offending we have a team of talented professionals who offer their time and skills to enhance our offer to our communities.
Located at the intersection of community and life, Youth Connect is a life-affirming journey that builds on the richness and power of lifelong values. We have been providing young people the values and skills they need to become exceptional members of our community.

Detached & Outreach sessions
Making a Difference One Child at a Time
At Youth Connect we strive to empower the lives of young people in our communities through our variety of programs. Our detached and outreach sessions are designed to engage with young people in their environments in places where they feel comfortable and willing to engage with us.
Through builing dialogue and trust we can then support some of the more marginalised young people in our communities and offer them the support they need.
We are committed to the development of our young people, and hope to continue making a difference in their lives.
Get Active and Have Fun
We deliver weekly sports sessions in local parks and recreation centres. We deliver sports such as Football, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton as well as many others to encourage healthy and active lifestyles. Our Sports projects are centered on instilling strong values into our young people and provides a safe space for them to expand their minds, get fit and active while meeting new and interesting people.
We also work with key local sports organisations such as Staffordshire County Cricket and Walsall Football Club in the development of our sports delivery projects.
At youth connect we’re dedicated to helping youth in their community develop their skills and grow into contributing members of society. For over a decade we have provided a variety of programs to all of our young people and have seen the direct benefits of the services we offer.
